Hilton Head Christian Academy’s season ended with a 12-2 loss to visiting Pee Dee Academy on Tuesday.
DJ Atkinson’s grand slam powered Pee Dee to the sweep of the best-of-3 SCISA Class 2A semifinal series.
Dargan Cherry drove in two runs, and John Burke, John Blackshire, and Daniel Harrington added hits for the Eagles.
Blackshire took the loss on the mound, allowing four runs over four innings with eight strikeouts and six walks.
The Eagles finished with a 19-5 record.
