Hilton Head Christian Academy baseball beat John Paul II 12-2 in five innings Monday.
Michael Graupner was 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, and four runs for the Eagles. Reese Malon drove in three runs, J.D. Monts and JP Peduzzi each had two RBIs, and John Blackshire was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Nine JPII errors contributed to 11 unearned runs for the Eagles.
John Burke struck out seven and allowed two unearned runs and two hits in a complete game to earn the win.
Mark Tigges had a double and an RBI and Hayden Jennings drove in a run for the Golden Warriors.
HHCA (9-1, 3-0) hosts Thomas Heyward at 6 p.m. Wednesday. JPII (6-7, 3-4) travels to Memorial Day for a non-region game at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
