FIRST TEE – LOWCOUNTRY LIFE SKILLS CLASSES

What: First Tee – Lowcountry emphasizes Nine Core Values: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment. Through golf and our core values, kids and teens will learn life skills including: Making proper introductions; managing emotions; resolving conflicts; setting up step-by-step goals; planning for the future; and appreciating diversity. Classes will begin the week of June 21. Each class is held one day a week on the scheduled day. The Summer session will continue for 6 weeks.

FIRST TEE – LOWCOUNTRY SUMMER CAMP

What: First Tee – Lowcountry emphasizes Nine Core Values: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment. Through golf and our core values, kids and teens will learn life skills including: Making proper introductions; managing emotions; resolving conflicts; setting up step-by-step goals; planning for the future; and appreciating diversity. Each weekly camp session is held over the course of four consecutive days (weather permitting). No prior experience or program level certification is required. Perfect for visiting grandchildren or as an addition to regular Life Skills Experience classes.

BEAUFORT ACADEMY BASKETBALL CAMP WITH COACH FIELD

What: Campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball from our varsity basketball coaches and members of the team. They will practices skills, drills, and play games. Campers will get instruction in; ball handling, passing, footwork, shooting, defense and team concepts. T-shirt is included in registration, particIpants must register by June 7 to guarantee a shirt.

ELITE TRAINING CENTER INTRO TO SPORTS & FITNESS SUMMER CAMP

What: Groups will be divided by age and participants will be introduced to exercise concepts with indoor training, speed and agility training, hand/eye coordination drills, daily crafts, and fun games and activities. Snacks and drinks provided.
When: June 21-25 / July 5-9 / July 12-16 / July 19-23 / July 26-30, 9am-12pm

HAMPTON HALL CLUB JUNIOR CLINICS

What: Junior tennis players can keep up their skills during summer break or learn to play tennis for the first time in a fun environment. Weekly clinics run Monday through Thursday and are led by Hampton Hall tennis professional Paul Tollefson.
When: June 21-24, 2021 / June 28-July 1 / July 5-8 / July 12-15 / July 26-29

Who: Age 4-6 (Beginner) / Ages 7-12 (Beginner or Intermediate) / Ages 12-16 (Advanced)

BEAUFORT HIGH VOLLEYBALL CAMP W/ HOWARD U. COACH SHAUN KUPFERBERG

What: Participants will receive instruction focused on all aspects of the game, including passing and serve-receive, hitting, blocking, setting, and serving and participate in a Q&A session on college recruiting with Howard University coach Shaun Kupferberg. Kupferberg’s teams won five consecutive MEAC titles from 2015-19 and he was the MEAC Coach of the Year three times during that span.
When: July 12-15, 2021 / 8 a.m.-Noon
Where: Beaufort High School gym
Who: Co-ed grades 7-12

HILTON HEAD CHRISTIAN ACADEMY ALL-SPORTS CAMP

What: HHCA’s All-Sports Camps are geared towards skill development and fundamentals, with a different “Sport of the Day” during each morning session. Afternoon sessions will be geared towards skill-building and sportsmanship through a variety of fun and active games for all ages.
When: July 19-22, 2021

COACH LIVESAY’S BASKETBALL CAMP

What: Boys and girls in grades 4-8 will participate in daily drills focused on offensive and defensive fundamentals, skill development stations, individual contests, half-court and full-court games, and team competitions with prizes and giveaways, special guest speakers, and lots of fun while focusing on skills, character, and team play.
When: July 19-22, 2021

LOWCOUNTRY LIGHTNING SUMMER CONDITIONING

What: Participants will take part in summer conditioning activities, including running, ladder drills, passing drills, cone drills, and more.
When: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-7:15 p.m. through July 22
Where: Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island, 151 Gumtree Road
Who: Youth with birthdates from July 1, 2008-June 30-2016
