Legendary Hilton Head Prep coach Jerry Faulkner picked up a win over one of his former teams with the Dolphins’ 60-40 victory over host Wilson Hall in the finale of the Baron Classic on Saturday.
Faulkner’s team was in total control against a squad he led to three state titles from 1977-80, as three players hit double digits in scoring. Kane Eanes led the way with 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds to go with two steals, and JJ Hayes posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards as well as five assists and three steals. Sean Cusano added 17 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks for the Dolphins.
HHP (5-2) travels to Habersham on Wednesday.
