Hilton Head Christian Academy baseball delivered a strong offensive output Friday, picking up an 8-4 home win over St. Andrew’s.
Leadoff hitter Jace Blackshear paced the offense, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Jackson Lanier added a hit while driving in three runs, and Micheal Zoodsma smoked a double.

Ben Eddy set the tone early with three strikeouts, and Walker Mikkelson closed it out on the bump, throwing the final 2 1-3 innings and allowing just one hit and no runs.
“Ben and Walker made them put it in play,” HHCA head coach Matt Smith said. “We played defense and we kept improving. Proud of them and the effort.”
Hilton Head Christian (2-7, 0-5) faces rival Hilton Head Prep on Monday.
