Hilton Head Prep girls soccer pulled off another impressive win Wednesday, knocking off SCISA 3A powerhouse Pinewood Prep 1-0 at home to earn an eighth straight win.
Neither team could find a goal in the first half, but the Dolphins broke the tie with a little over 10 minutes left in the match as Shania Diaz poked an Ansleigh Crenshaw feed past the goalkeeper to net the game-winning tally.
Ashlyn Parsick, Bailey Sullivan, Haley Majors, and Alexis Denny anchored a dominant defensive effort, and Sami Heginbottom notched the clean sheet, denying the Panthers all afternoon with seven saves.
HHP (8-1, 3-0) looks to keep it rolling Monday in a region contest at rival Hilton Head Christian Academy.
