May River’s girls ran into a strong opponent Saturday, falling 62-37 to host The Galloway School in the second round of the Battle of Buckhead in Atlanta.
The Sharks were even after one period but couldn’t keep pace with The Galloway School the rest of the way.
Emma Peluso and Olivia Peluso each scored nine points to lead May River.
