Hilton Head High’s girls fought back to take the lead in the second half but couldn’t hang on Saturday, losing 49-43 to Chapman in the first round of the Seahawk Holiday Classic.
The Seahawks rallied from a seven-point deficit at halftime to take the lead, but Asia Anderson was too much for HHIHS, scoring 23 points.
Miley Ray led the Seahawks with 13 points.
