Bluffton’s all-stars went 2-2 and finished third at the Dixie Softball Angels X-Play State Tournament in Union.
After losing 22-6 to Clinton in their opener, Bluffton came back to win two consecutive elimination games.
Braylin Rogers had a three-run triple, and Savannah Hollings earned the win in a 20-9 victory over Belton.
Bluffton then defeated Union County 18-10, as Sydney Hollings had a triple and three RBIs, Aniyah Martinez was 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, and Savannah Johns was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Makenzie Stubbs earned the win, and Savannah Hollings pitched two hitless innings for the save.
Bluffton was unable to hold off elimination for a third consecutive day, falling 17-0 in three innings against Aynor on Tuesday.
