Hilton Head Christian Academy’s volleyball team picked up a big region win over rival Hilton Head Prep on Thursday, winning 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-12).
Setter Cortney Gray had a big night directing the offense for the Eagles, racking up 40 assists along with eight digs. Sydney DeSimone collected team-highs for kills (19) and digs (26) and added two aces and two blocks. Lauryn Qualls had eight kills, 15 digs, and three aces, and Ady O’Grady added seven kills, seven digs, and two aces.
The Eagles travel to Thomas Heyward on Tuesday. The Dolphins host Beaufort Academy on Monday.
