Hilton Head Prep girls basketball blitzed Pinewood Prep from the opening tip Friday, winning 55-21 on the road.
The Dolphins pushed the tempo early and used their stifling defense to create easy buckets, racing to a 13-4 lead after one quarter and opening it up to 29-10 by halftime before outscoring the Panthers 14-6 in the third period.
Freshman Courtney Campbell poured in 23 points to go with four steals and two assists to lead the Dolphins, while Katie Campbell added 14 points and six rebounds. Avery Brothers contributed six points, five boards, and two steals, and Ella Clark had eight points, five steals, and three deflections.
HHP (2-1) hosts St. Andrew’s on Tuesday.
