Hilton Head Prep boys basketball ran into a red-hot Pinewood Prep team Friday in Charleston, as the Panthers drained 11 3-pointers in an 88-62 victory to send the visiting Dolphins to their first loss.
Andrew Helms scored 13 points and was 3-of-5 from 3-point range to lead the Dolphins in scoring. Sean Cusano collected 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocks before fouling out, and JJ Hayes added 10 points and seven boards. Kane Eanes contributed 11 points and Connor Campbell added 10 for the Dolphins.
HHP (3-1) hosts St. Andrew’s on Tuesday.
