Beaufort Academy girls basketball rolled to a big win in its home opener Friday, hammering crosstown rival Bridges Prep 71-8.
Kamirah Freeman led four Eagles in double figures with 19 points, while Mike’Ala Washington added 16, Tahleea Heyward scored 15, and Mary Hanna Hiers contributed 12. Ari Gonzalez shipped in eight points for BA.
The Eagles (2-1) host the Lowcountry Wildcats at 6 p.m. Saturday.
