Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys fell just short of their second tournament title in two weekends with a 45-40 loss to the host team in the championship game of the Bulloch Academy Holiday Tournament on Saturday.
The Eagles led 24-20 at halftime but ran out of steam in the second half and managed only two field goals and six points in the fourth quarter.
Floyd Hargrove led the Eagles with 11 points, and Quinn Ryan and Daniel Harrington added nine apiece.
Chas Collins scored 13 points, Weston Boyd added 12, and Bo Spence hit three 3-pointers in the second half to lead the Bulloch Academy comeback.
