Hilton Head High’s girls opened the new calendar year with a 53-31 home loss to Clover on Friday.
Miley Ray scored 15 points and Trinity Feltner added seven to lead the Seahawks. Aylesha Wade led Clover with 21 points.
The Seahawks (5-11) travel to Effingham County (Ga.) on Tuesday.
