Hilton Head Christian Academy’s postseason was short-lived, as the Eagles lost 49-19 to visiting Florence Christian in the first round of the SCISA 2A playoffs Friday.
Florence Christian jumped out to a quick 12-0 lead and extended the advantage to 22-7 at halftime. It was 42-7 before the Eagles scored a pair of late touchdowns.
Daniel Harrington was 13-of-27 for 173 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions and added 65 yards on 15 carries. Jace Blackshear broke a 63-yard touchdown run, and Cameron Strickland and JP Peduzzi caught touchdown passes for the Eagles.
HHCA finishes with a 6-4 record.
