Hilton Head Christian Academy baseball opened its season with a 16-6 win over First Presbyterian on Monday.
John Burke went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and six RBIs and Michael Graupner was 2-for-4 to lead the Eagles at the plate. Dargan Cherry struck out 10 in the win.
The Eagles (1-0) hit the road Tuesday to face Coastal Homeschool.
