The week began with a flurry of Lowco-on-Lowco matchups on the basketball court along with a few on the wrestling mats, and it will end with the kickoff of holiday hoops tournament season.
The John Drafts Battery Creek Classic will feature a solid eight-team boys field starting Thursday, while the Seahawk Holiday Classic tips off Friday with eight boys teams and six girls teams, and the Bluffton Bobcat Classic has a local-heavy field of eight boys and six girls teams tipping off the day after Christmas.
