Even without a couple of their key contributors, Hilton Head Prep’s boys put on a show Wednesday in Savannah, as four Dolphins hit double digits in scoring in an 85-30 road rout of Habersham.
Kane Eanes led the Dolphins at the offensive end with 19 points and racked up a team-high six steals on defense, while Ben Frey nearly matched his line with 17 points and five steals. JJ Hayes had a monster night on the boards, finishing with 15 points, 17 rebounds, and three steals, and Andrew Helms added 13 points and three steals.
The Dolphins are still without 3-point specialist Ryan Mikell, and big man Sean Cusano did not play Wednesday.
HHP (6-2) hopes to avenge a loss in last year’s SCISA 3A playoffs when the Dolphins host Northwood Academy on Friday.
