Three pitchers combined on a one-hitter as Battery Creek softball stayed undefeated with a 16-1 win at Ridgeland-Hardeeville on Wednesday.
Michaux Gee gave up one hit and an unearned run and struck out three in two innings of work, Alexis Ortiz struck out four in two perfect innings, and Margaret Schubert had a strikeout and a walk in a hitless inning.
Ortiz hit a two-run homer, Journeigh Doray was 1-for-1 with a double and scored three runs, Schubert was 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and two runs, and Gee was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs.
The Dolphins (11-0, 9-0) face Lexington at 6 p.m. Friday in the Triple Crown Invitational in Aiken.
