Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls opened region play with a 62-35 home win over Beaufort Academy on Friday.
HHCA raced out to a 21-6 lead after one quarter and cruised to the win behind 17 points from Jossie Frazier. Jasmine Campbell added nine points and Brielle McCarthy and Dior Shelton had eight apiece for HHCA.
Amelia Huebel scored 15 points and Emily Ann Hiers added eight to lead BA.
HHCA (8-3, 1-0) travels to Coastal Homeschool on Monday.
BA (9-3, 0-2) hosts Charleston Collegiate on Wednesday.
