Bluffton’s basketball teams opened the season with a sweep of visiting Battery Creek on Tuesday.
Tatyana Aiken poured in 22 points and Allayah Bryan added 13 to lead the Bobcat girls to a 50-40 win.
Bluffton’s boys trailed 20-11 after one quarter but cut the deficit to 26-25 at halftime. The Dolphins led 40-37 after three quarters, but the Bobcats outscored them 11-6 in the final period.
Bluffton hosts South Effingham on Friday, while Battery Creek hosts rival Beaufort High.
