HS Golf: Seahawks Finish 6th At State Meet

Hilton Head High’s girls golf team saved its best performance for last, as the Seahawks posted their two lowest scores of the season en route to a sixth-place finish at the Class 4A state meet Monday and Tuesday.

The Seahawks carded rounds of 379 and 358 at the Hackler Golf Course in Conway. Their team total of 737 was good for sixth place behind Daniel (654), Pickens (692), AC Flora (720), Myrtle Beach (730), and Hartsville (735).

Emma Hayward (85-84) led the Seahawks with a tie for 13th, while Morgan Caramello (92-84) tied for 19th, and McKenzie Bradley (94-85) was 23rd.

Beaufort did not record a team score, as only three players completed both rounds.
