After playing to a scoreless draw through regulation and overtime, Hilton Head Prep’s girls won a penalty shootout at Beaufort Academy on Thursday.
Charlotte Covington, Mackenzie Joyner, and Caitlin Heidel converted their opportunities to give the Dolphins a 3-1 win in the shootout.
Amelia Huebel made eight saves to preserve the shutout in regulation for the Eagles.
HHP (11-4-1) wraps up region play against Palmetto Christian on Tuesday. BA (4-8) travels to John Paul II for a region match at 5:45 p.m. Friday.
