Led by individual champion Jonathan Griz, Hilton Head Prep edged May River by nine shots to win the inaugural Beaufort County Invitational boys’ golf tournament.
The Dolphins posted a 54-hole total of 677 in the three-day event played at the Golf Club of Indigo Run, Golden Bear Golf Club, and Chechessee Creek Club from Monday through Wednesday.
Griz carded a 54-hole total of 219 to win by five shots over Beaufort High’s Tommy Holloway and May River’s Brandon McBride.
